ARC310 - Construction Design

Construction Design focused on the technical development of residential and commercial building projects through the integration of building systems, materials, construction methods, energy performance, accessibility, and code requirements. The course emphasized translating design intent into detailed construction documents while applying knowledge from previous coursework in structures, materials, graphics, and energy in buildings. Through both residential Type V and commercial Type II/III projects, I strengthened my understanding of how thoughtful technical design supports functional, safe, and sustainable architecture.
