Form & Function

Expression of Truth/Beauty.

The relationship between form and function has been a central idea in architecture. This project explores the analysis and transformation of existing prototypes (forms and patterns) based on new functions.

Movement Analogies

A requirement of the project was to study the movement and components of everyday house hold items. This then led us to create conceptual combinations that would transform our bridge and help achieve the required clearance opening of a 30' by 40' window for marine traffic.
