FSC Pocket Neighborhoods

This project explored the design of a small-scale residential community for faculty, visiting scholars, and graduate students at Farmingdale State College. Inspired by precedents from architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sauer, the project investigated how compact housing can encourage community, sustainability, and connection to the campus landscape while maintaining privacy and architectural character. Throughout the project, I challenged myself by redesigning the site topography and learning to work through complex modeling and site development in Rhino 3D, strengthening both my technical and design skills.
